最近英語で日記をつけるのが私の中で流行りです。
Chat gptに添削してもらうのもいい感じだし。
今日の日記はこんなかんじ。
I finally applied for the autopsy imaging workshop. I have been interested in this since I saw it on Twitter (I don't want to call it X), but when I found the post about it at that time, the deadline for application was already over. So I decided to do this year.
Unfortunately, the deadline for this year's workshop was over again when I reached the page. While it was at the end of November last year, it was at the end of October this year... I was so shocked. I had been waiting for a year only to miss the deadline again!
However, I decided to just give it a try as it seemed to cause no harm. I could send the application on the page, and I got an auto-reply mail saying I needed to wait for a couple of days. I waited. Then I received an email with an ID and a password finally!
I am not Christian, but I believe in this saying:
Ask, and it shall be given you.

変えたところと、なぜ変えたかを教えて、と頼むとさらに
- "I have been interested in this since I saw it on Twitter" を "I've been interested in this ever since I saw it on Twitter" に変更しました。現在完了形 ("I have been") から簡略形 ("I've been") に変更し、文章をより自然な英語にしました。
- "but when I found the post about it at that time, the deadline for application was already over." を "but when I found the post about it at that time, the application deadline had already passed." に変更しました。過去完了形 ("was already over") を過去完了形 ("had already passed") に変更して、過去の時制を統一しました。
- "So I decided to do this year." を "So, I decided to apply this year." に変更しました。"do this year" は不自然な表現であるため、「今年は申し込むことにしました」と修正しました。
- "Unfortunately, the deadline for this year's workshop was over again when I reached the page." を "Unfortunately, the deadline for this year's workshop had passed again by the time I reached the page." に変更しました。
- 過去完了形 ("was over") を使って、時制の一貫性を保ちつつ、文をより滑らかに繋げました。"I am not Christian, but I believe in this saying: Ask, and it shall be given you." を "I am not Christian, but I believe in this saying: Ask, and it shall be given to you." に変更しました。古風な表現を避け、より一般的な表現に変更しました。"given you" を "given to you" に修正しました。
みたいな感じで教えてくれて助かります。
