アラスカ旅行の計画
今日はなんだか気分が悪くて、朝からいまいちやる気が出ない。
別に寝不足ってわけじゃないのになあ。
夫は「カフェイン取れば？」って言って、コーヒー淹れてくれた。普段は紅茶しか飲まないんだけど、一杯だけ飲んだ。
ちょっと仕事して、ジム行って、いつもの傾斜をつけたウォーキングをしたあと、カフェイン効果なのか謎のやる気がでて筋トレをしちゃった。
帰ってきて昼ごはん食べたら、疲れ果ててることに気づいた。やっぱ筋トレは疲れるらしい。家事を一通りやったあと、仕方ないのでお昼寝することに。
お昼寝から起きたらちょっとお腹が空いてた。この間のパーティーでもらってきたチョコレートのかかったプレッツェルを食べたら美味かった。
今度アラスカあたりでオーロラをみたいと思っていて、その旅行の計画を立て始めた。GPTの最初の画面でよく「旅行の計画を立てる」みたいのがサジェストされてるので、「アラスカ旅行の計画を立てるの手伝って」っていったら、なんか予算と日程、興味のあるアクティビティーを教えてください、みたいに言われて、それがわかってるなら苦労しませんけど……て感じであんまり役に立たなかった。わたしには結局、「地球の歩き方」を買って情報をインプットするのがいちばんいいな。

が候補だったんだけど、シアトルからの飛行機代を考えたらホワイトホースは除外かな。アンカレッジは、夏に行くと国立公園も回れてお得！みたいな記事があったけど、オーロラを確実に見たいならやっぱりフェアバンクスがいいらしい。単純に北にあるからね。
しかも、オーロラって年によって強かったり弱かったりするらしいんだけど、2023・2024はソーラーアクティビティ？がピークになるらしい。絶対行かなきゃ。

However, not knowing well about Alaska, I was confused when asked about the budget, the length of the trip, and the activities I was interested in. Of course, my interest was in the aurora, but I didn’t know how much budget or days I needed to see aurora. So I ended up resorting to an old-fashioned manner of buying a book. I bought a travel guidebook which had a famously long history.
Initially, I was considering 3 places as options; Fairbanks, Anchorage, and Whitehorse(this is in Canada, though). Whitehorse went out because of the cost of flights from Seattle. When it comes to the possibility of seeing Aurora during a trip, Fairbanks wins against Anchorage simply because it is further north. Anchorage also sounded fascinating as there is a national park near Anchorage. But I decided to go to Fairbanks next March during the two weeks around the new moon.
Also, I also heard aurora waxes and wanes each year, but 2023/2024 would be the peak of the solar activity so the aurora would be stronger. I can’t miss out on this opportunity.
